Hi Cortney! I store them at room temperature in an airtight container if they’ll be served within two or three days. Otherwise I freeze them and then thaw before serving at room temperature.
LA, it’s actually a cookie stamp. I roll the dough into a ball and press it down with the stamp. The one I have is quite old, but Amazon has several that are similar. https://amzn.to/3UdugHn
Yes, I have frozen and thawed them with good success. Be sure the container has an airtight seal and as much air as possible has been removed before sealing them in.
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing orange shortbread cookies recipe! Will surely have this again! It’s really easy to make and it tasted so delicious! Highly recommended!

Hi there! Do you recommend storing in refrigerator once baked and before serving?

These are beautiful and looking forward to making them. Where can I get a snowflake cookie cutter like this one you used?

Just wondering about the flour/cornstarch ratio? Is it really 1 and 1/2 cups of cornstarch?
Hi K! Yes, it is correct. It seems excessive, but it helps give the shortbread that light delicate texture. They are incredibly delicious!
I love how easy these are to make! And the orange flavor is such a fun twist on traditional shortbread. Yum!
Thank you, Lydia!
