Description

Bold, spicy, sweet and tangy — Jezebel Sauce over softened cream cheese is going to be the favorite thing on your appetizer table.   Guests can’t get enough, and no one believes how easy it is to make! Perfect for game day, holidays and get-togethers.  Serve over softened cream cheese with crackers.  Or use it as a mouthwatering glaze for poultry pork or lamb.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 18 oz. jar apple jelly
  • 18 oz. jar pineapple preserves
  • 8 oz. jar prepared horseradish (Not horseradish sauce mixed with mayo and other ingredients. It should be plain Prepared Horseradish, and the ingredient list will be something like horseradish, vinegar, water and salt. That’s it.)
  • 1/4 cup stone ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all five ingredients to a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for at least eight hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve over a block of softened cream cheese with a variety of crispy crackers.
