Description

Unleash the full potential of fries, burgers and your favorite recipes with my best homemade ketchup recipe. It’s so easy to make and this delicious ketchup is tangy, fresh and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 1 (12 oz) can tomato paste (If you have 6 oz cans, just use 2.)
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut aminos [affiliate link]
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard (Stone ground mustard works, too.)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • a pinch of chipotle powder

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a smoothie blender and blend to combine, or whisk the ingredients together in a mixing bowl until everything is evenly distributed and emulsified.
  2. Transfer to a glass jar or storage container with an air-tight seal.
  3. Taste for seasoning and adjust if needed.
  4. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 month.
